New Non - Executive Director

DCC plc, the business support services group, announces that Mr Leslie Van de Walle will join the Board as a non-executive Director, with effect from 8 November 2010.

Mr Van de Walle, age 54, is a former Chief Executive Officer of Rexam plc and previously held a number of senior executive roles in Royal Dutch Shell plc, including Executive Vice President of Retail for Oil Products and Head of Oil Products, Shell Europe. He has also held a number of senior management positions with Cadbury Schweppes plc and United Biscuits plc.

Mr Van de Walle is a non-executive director of Aviva plc and, with effect from 1 October 2010, of SIG plc.

Following this appointment, the Board of DCC will comprise eleven Directors, eight non-executive and three executive.
