RE: BROCHURE OF PARTICULARS

Application has been made to the Irish Stock Exchange and to the UK Listing
Authority for 10,000 Ordinary Shares of EUR 0.25 each to be re-admitted to the
Official List of the Irish Stock Exchange and the Official List of the UK
Listing Authority, and to the London Stock Exchange for such shares to be
re-admitted to trading. The shares rank pari passu in all respects with the
existing fully paid ordinary shares at the date of re-issue.

These shares have been re-issued as a result of the exercise of options issued
under the DCC Plc 1998 Employee Share Option Scheme, and were previously held
by the Company as treasury shares.

Copies of this announcement are available from the Registered Office of the
Company for fourteen days following the date of publication.
