Re: DCC plc Board Changes

In relation to the co-option of Ms. Roisin Brennan to the Board of DCC plc on 
5 September 2005, there are no details to be disclosed under Listing Rule 6.6.13
(1) to (6) of the Listing Rules of the Irish Stock Exchange and Listing Rule
9.6.13 (1) to (6) of the Listing Rules of the Financial Services Authority.

In relation to the co-option of Mr. Michael Buckley to the Board of DCC plc on 
5 September 2005, Mr. Buckley was a director of Allied Irish Banks, p.l.c. up
until 30 June 2005, and there are no details to be disclosed under Listing Rule
6.6.13 (2) to (6) of the Listing Rules of the Irish Stock Exchange and Listing
Rule 9.6.13 (2) to (6) of the Listing Rules of the Financial Services Authority.
