Morgan Crowe will retire from the Board of DCC and as Managing Director of DCC's

1976 and, in particular, to the development of DCC's healthcare division. His
commitment and ability have been a great asset to DCC. Morgan has agreed to
become non-executive Deputy Chairman of the board of DCC's healthcare division

beverage division with effect from April next. Frank is a senior executive of
Diageo and since 1998 has been Chief Executive of R&A Bailey & Co. with
responsibility for Bailey's global business. He has led the growth of Baileys
from 13th to 8th position in the global spirits market. His experience and track
record of success in management and marketing equips him well to lead the
strategic and operational development of DCC's food and beverage division and to
drive the growth of its brands.
Tommy Breen, aged 44, an executive director of DCC, will become Managing
Director of DCC's energy division in April next, having been Managing Director
of DCC's SerCom division since 1996 where he has very effectively led the strong
growth and market out-performance of SerCom's businesses in Britain, Ireland and
Continental Europe.
Kevin Murray, aged 44, an executive director of DCC, will become Managing
Director of DCC's healthcare division in July next and will continue as Managing
Director of DCC's growing environmental services business which is to become a
new division. Since 1996 he has been a very successful Managing Director of
DCC's energy division and of DCC's food and beverage division.
Donal Murphy, aged 38, is being promoted to Managing Director of DCC's SerCom
division with effect from April next having been DCC's Head of Group IT since
1998. Donal has led the successful development of IT platforms across the Group
and has contributed greatly to related operational issues. He is currently
leading the implementation of a new IT platform for DCC SerCom's IT distribution
businesses.
Commenting on these senior management appointments and changes, Jim Flavin said:
'These management appointments and changes will further enhance the strength
and depth of the DCC management team. This team, together with the highly
experienced and committed operating management teams in DCC's subsidiaries,
give the Group the capacity and sectoral focus to exploit its strong
