DCC plc announces that on 3 February 2006, 23,830 shares were transferred out 
of the Company's holding of treasury shares pursuant to the exercise of options
under the DCC plc 1998 Employee Share Option Scheme. The subscription prices
paid for these shares ranged from €7.43 to €8.19.

DCC has a total of 88,229,404 shares in issue, of which 7,702,901 shares are 
now held in treasury.
