                                 Treasury Shares

DCC plc announces that on 13 March 2008, 25,799 shares were transferred out of
the Company's holding of treasury shares pursuant to the exercise of options
under the DCC Sharesave Scheme 2001. The subscription price paid for these
shares was €12.63 per share.

DCC now has a total of 80,794,989 shares in issue excluding treasury shares and
7,434,415 shares held in treasury.
