Treasury Shares 

DCC plc announces that on 1 September 2008, 12,500 shares were transferred out of the Company's holding of treasury shares pursuant to the exercise of options under the DCC plc 1998 Employee Share Option Scheme. The subscription price paid for these shares was €6.22 per share.

DCC now has a total of 81,837,942 shares in issue excluding treasury shares and 6,391,462 shares held in treasury.
