DCC plc announces that on 20 September 2010, 2,500 shares were transferred out of the Company's holding of treasury shares pursuant to the exercise of options under the DCC plc 1998 Employee Share Option Scheme. The subscription price paid for these shares was €11.25.

DCC now has a total of 83,130,991 shares in issue excluding treasury shares and 5,098,413 shares held in treasury.
