DCC plc announces that on 9 August 2010, 5,364 shares were transferred out of the Company's holding of treasury shares pursuant to the exercise of options under the DCC Sharesave Scheme 2001. The subscription price paid for these shares was €12.63 per share.

DCC now has a total of 83,113,267 shares in issue excluding treasury shares and 5,116,137 shares held in treasury.
