                              Treasury Shares


DCC plc announces that on 18 November 2005, 1,319 shares were transferred out of
the Company's holding of treasury shares pursuant to the exercise of options
under the DCC Sharesave Scheme 2001. The subscription prices paid for these
shares ranged from €8.79 to €12.63.

DCC has a total of 88,229,404 shares in issue, of which 7,775,144 shares are now
held in treasury.
