                       COMPLETION OF THE ACQUISITION OF

                            ATS MONEY SYSTEMS INC.

Further to the announcement on 2 March 2001, and following the approval of the
shareholders of ATS Money Systems Inc., at a shareholders meeting on 23 May
2001, De La Rue has completed the acquisition of ATS for consideration of
US$14.5m.
