De La Rue plc - Directorship Changes

De La Rue announces today that Mr Leo Quinn will resign as a director and chief executive of De La Rue plc on 31 December 2008 and that Mr James Hussey will be appointed as a director and chief executive of the Company with effect from 1 January 2009. Full details are set out in the Company's interim results which were announced today. There is nothing that is required to be disclosed under Listing Rule 9.6.13 in respect of Mr James Hussey.
