De La Rue plc - Disposal of holding in Koenig & Bauer AG

De La Rue has today sold for settlement in April 2002, its 6.27 per cent.
holding in Koenig & Bauer AG for a gross consideration of €22.4 million (£13.7
million). The disposal will result in an exceptional profit before tax of
approximately £9.7 million which will be reported in the current financial year.
