                               Additional Listing                               

Application has today been made for 3,000 ordinary shares of 1p each in the
Company ('Ordinary Shares') to be admitted to the Official List of the UK
Listing Authority and to trading on the London Stock Exchange. The Ordinary
Shares are being issued pursuant to the exercise of options in respect of the
Dechra Pharmaceuticals PLC Unapproved option scheme 2000.

Admission of these Ordinary Shares is expected to become effective on 24
November 2004.
