                               Additional Listing

Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority for the blocklisting of a
maximum of 750,000 ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company ('Ordinary
Shares'), which could be issued pursuant to the exercise of 730,000 options
under the terms of the Dechra Pharmaceuticals PLC Unapproved Share Option Scheme
and 20,000 options under the Dechra Pharmaceuticals PLC SAYE Scheme. It is
anticipated that the blocklisting application will be granted on 18 April 2005.
