Dechra Pharmaceuticals PLC ("the Company") has been notified that on 22^nd June 2010 Michael Redmond, Chairman, transferred the beneficial interest of 56,475 shares in the Company on 21^st June 2010 to the Redmond Family Trust for nil consideration.  The shares will be held in the name of Michael Redmond <RFT>.

The total beneficial holding of Michael Redmond following this transaction remains unchanged, being 56,475 shares, which represents 0.085% of the current issued share capital of the Company.
