Appointment of Director



Dickinson Legg Group plc ('Dickinson Legg' or the 'Company')


In accordance with the succession plans of the Company described in the AIM
admission document, the Board of Dickinson Legg today announces the appointment
of Tom Mackie to the position of Chief Executive with effect from 1 July 2003.
Tom will continue to act as Managing Director of Dickinson Legg Limited
following this appointment.


Barry Stevenson, who is at present Executive Chairman of the Company, will
become Non-Executive Chairman upon the appointment of Tom Mackie becoming
effective.
