Dickinson Legg Group PLC
20 December 2005
Dickinson Legg Group wishes to correct the statement made after the Annual
General Meeting earlier today, which inaccurately gave the results of the
resolutions put to the meeting. The statement should have read as follows:
At the Company's Annual General Meeting held this morning, all resolutions
offered for shareholder approval were passed, with the exception of resolution
5, being the resolution to authorise the issue of ordinary shares as though the
pre-emption rights conferred on shareholders by section 89 of the Companies Act
1985 did not apply.
Commenting on the performance and outlook for Dickinson Legg Group, Chairman,
Barry Stevenson said:
'Trading for the full year is expected to be in line with market expectations.
Due to the timing of orders received at both Dickinson Legg Ltd and Spooner
Industries Ltd, performance will be heavily biased to the second half. Looking
forward there are a number of quality prospects for tobacco processing machinery
and specialist air drying equipment but our markets remain very competitive.'
