Dickinson Legg Group PLC
25 June 2004
Dickinson Legg Limited
Trading Update
As anticipated in the interim results, the second half of the year has seen a
significant improvement in the trading in the tobacco businesses of Dickinson
Legg Limited and the Indian Joint Venture, Dickinson Fowler Limited. However,
trading at Spooner Industries has been disappointing.
Overall, the Company's trading for the year to 30 June 2004 remains in line with
market expectations.
Although the Company has a number of good prospects, the markets for tobacco
processing and specialist drying equipment continue to show no signs of
improvement.
