Grant of options
23 December 2010 - Deltex Medical Group plc (the "Company"), the global leader in oesophageal Doppler monitoring ("ODM"), today announces that the Board yesterday approved the issue of share options to Ewan Phillips, Chief Executive.
EMI scheme - salary sacrifice
Following his appointment as Chief Executive in September 2009, the Company's remuneration committee awarded Ewan Phillips a salary increase of £15,000 per annum. Mr Phillips has elected to sacrifice the whole of this salary increase in respect of the period 1 October 2010 to 31 December 2010, in return for awards of options under the Company's 2003 Enterprise Management Incentive ("EMI") Scheme as follows:

Additional interests
Mr Phillips also has a beneficial interest in 1,159,773 ordinary shares in the Company representing 0.88 per cent of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company. Mr Phillips also holds options over 2,480,000 shares in the Company's Employee share option scheme. These options have a range of exercise periods from 2004 to 2019.
