Deltex Medical Group plc was notified today by Close Investment Limited,
pursuant to Part VI of the Companies Act 1985 (as amended), that following the
sale by Close Brothers AIM VCT PLC of a total of 100,000 ordinary shares on 16
January 2004, it has a total holding of 3,689,264 ordinary shares representing
5.98% of the Company's issued share capital.



The above interest was non-beneficial to Close Investment Limited and arose by
virtue of the discretionary management of the shares under written agreement
between the beneficial owner of the shares as listed above and Close Investment
Limited.
