Directors' Shareholdings/Issue of equity

23 December 2013 Deltex Medical Group plc ("Deltex Medical" or the "Company"), the global leader in oesophageal Doppler monitoring ("ODM"), announces that it has issued a total of 790,574 new ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company ("New Ordinary Shares") at a price of 14.00 pence per share.

The four non-executive directors named below have elected to take New Ordinary Shares in lieu of a cash payment as remuneration for their services to the Company for the period 1 October 2012 to 31 December 2013.

Paul Mitchell, Finance Director has elected to take New Ordinary Shares in lieu of £20,000 of salary in respect of the period 1 January 2013 to 31 December 2013.

In addition to the above, the Company also announces that it has today issued a total of 71,429 New Ordinary Shares to a former employee of the Company at a price of 14.00 pence per share in settlement of contractual obligations.

Accordingly, application has been made for these New Ordinary Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM. The shares rank pari passu with the existing issued shares of the Company and dealings are expected to commence on 31 December 2013.  Following the issue of these new shares the Company has a total of 168,070,379  ordinary shares of 1p each in issue.
