Derwent appoints new non-executive director

Derwent London is pleased to announce the appointment of Stephen Young who joined the board as a non-executive director on 2^nd August 2010. Stephen will serve as an independent member on the Company's audit, remuneration and nominations committees.

Since 2004 Stephen has been group finance director of Meggitt PLC, a major provider of hi-technology equipment to the aerospace, defence and other industries. He previously worked in the same role at Thistle Hotels PLC and the Automobile Association.

There are no further details required to be disclosed under LR 9.6.13 of the FSA Handbook.
