(Amendment) Regulations 1993 (SI 1993 No. 1819) of our interest in investment 
holdings in the ordinary share capital of D.F.S. Furniture Company plc.  
Following a sale of 149,655 shares on June 9, 2004, accounts managed by Harris 
Associates L.P. became the beneficial owners of 5,247,076 shares of D.F.S. 
Furniture Company plc.  This represents a 4.90% ownership of the company and a 
decrease below the 5% substantial shareholder threshold.  The following is a
