DFS Furniture Company plc ('DFS')
Statement with respect to possible offer for DFS
The Board of DFS announces that it is in discussions with its Executive
Chairman, Graham Kirkham, about him making a possible offer for the share
capital of DFS other than that already owned by him and his family. An
indicative offer proposal has been made at 415 pence per share which is subject,
inter alia, to financing and due diligence. An independent committee of the
Board is to be formed to consider this proposal in more detail.
A further announcement will be made in due course.
