CONTINUING OBLIGATIONS
Diageo plc (the 'Company') announces that it received notification on 16
February 2001 for the purposes of Sections 198 to 208 of the Companies Act
1985 that there has been a change in the registration details relating to
Prudential plc's 3.00% interest in the Company's ordinary shares of 28 101/108
pence ('Ordinary Shares'), notified on 27 December 2000. The revised list of
registered holders and the number of Ordinary Shares held by each of them is
as follows:
