Diageo PLC 12 April 2001 Colin Storm retires from Diageo plc Diageo plc announces that Colin Storm is retiring from the Board today, 12 April 2001. Having started his career as an Under-Brewer with Guinness in 1961, Mr Storm was appointed Chief Executive of Guinness Ltd in April 1998. In August 2000, he was seconded to Burger King as Chief Executive Officer. Mr Storm has completed nearly 40 years' service with the Diageo group.
