Additional Listing

Diagonal PLC ('the Company') announces that it is issuing 450,000 ordinary
shares of 10p each to the Diagonal Qualifying Employee Share Ownership Trust
('the QUEST') to enable the QUEST to satisfy options exercisable under the
Diagonal PLC 1997 Savings-Related Share Option Scheme.


The new ordinary shares will rank pari passu with the existing ordinary shares
of the Company. Application will be made for the ordinary shares to be admitted
to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and to trading on the London
Stock Exchange's market for listed securities. Such admission is expected to
take place on 25 April 2002.
