                                AGM STATEMENT

At the AGM of the Company which was held today the Chairman, Mark Samuels,
said:

'Diagonal announces that trading in the first quarter of the year was
consistent with its expectations. Looking ahead, the order book is strong and
the Directors expect growth to continue through the year.'
