                              Appointment


The Roxboro Group PLC, the international specialist electronics company, is
pleased to announce the appointment of Roy Burton as Chief Executive Officer of
the Group's subsidiary Dialight, with immediate effect. Dialight specialises in
opto-electronic devices for the telecommunication industry and is a leading
company in the application of emerging electronic lighting technology in the
transport sector.

Mr Burton, who is British but is now a US citizen, has over 30 years experience
in the electronics industry in both the US and in the UK. Roy Burton was
previously Group President of Thomas & Betts Corporation, where he was
responsible for five divisions with a turnover of $1bn and 10,000 employees.
