Dialight appoints Chief Executive for EAA region

Dialight plc is pleased to announce the appointment of David Richardson as Chief Executive responsible for the Group's Europe, Africa and Asia (EAA) operations. This is a new role reflecting the growing importance of the region to Dialight's expanding energy efficient lighting business.

David joins Dialight from the Draeger Group, a leading company in the field of medical and safety technology, where he was Managing Director of its UK business.  Having originally trained as an engineer, David brings with him a wealth of experience in technical, operational and commercial roles in the industrial sector.  His appointment is effective July 1, 2011.
