Dialight plc - Interest in Shares

Dialight Employee Share Ownership Plan Trust on 30 April 2008 acquired 10,000 
shares at a cost of 1.776p per share.  This takes the total number of shares 
held by the Trust to 166,000.

The Dialight Employee Share Ownership Plan is a Trust under which conditional 
share awards are provided to employees of the Group, including the Executive 
Directors of Dialight plc.
