BOARD CHANGE

Diagonal plc (' the Company ') announces that Allan Robb has today resigned as a
Director of the Company and will be leaving the Company shortly. Graham
Creswick, Group Chief Executive, will assume Allan Robb's responsibilities.

The Board wishes to record its appreciation of Allan's contribution during his
time with the Company and wishes him well for the future.

Diagonal's 2001/02 interim results, which are due to be announced on 18 July,
will be in line with market expectations and the Board expects to be able to
report a satisfactory outlook for the full year.
