Board appointment
The Board of Dialight plc (the "Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Mrs. Gaelle Hotellier as Non-Executive Director of the Company with effect from 3 October 2016. The Company also announces that Mrs. Hotellier will, with effect from 3 October, join the Audit and Nominations Committee of the Company, with David Blood stepping down from the Audit Committee on the same date.
Mrs. Hotellier is currently COO of Siemens' Mechanical Drives business in Bocholt, Germany and is Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board of Siemens Industriegetriebe GmbH in Penig. Between 2013 and 2015 she was the Executive Board member of the European Union's Fuel Cell Hydrogen Joint Undertaking, a public-private partnership with the European Commission. She has been working for the Siemens group since 2002 during which time she has held various senior management roles. She brings with her more than 22 years of relevant business experience, including seven years in the lighting industry and a further four years in green technologies.
Mrs. Hotellier received an MBA from the Texas Tech University in Texas (USA) in 1993 and holds a degree in Organization and Production Management from the Institute of Technology (IUT) in Annecy (France).

There are no further matters to be disclosed pursuant to Rule 9.6.13R of the Listing Rules.
