Dialight plc - Directors Interests in Shares

On 20 June 2006 the directors of Dialight plc acquired shares in the Company as
shown below.  The price per share at which the directors made the relevant
purchases was 196 pence.

In addition to the above purchase of shares by the directors, on the same day
Dialight Employees Share Ownership Plan Trust acquired 156,000 shares at a cost
of 196 per share.



The Dialight Employees Share Ownership Plan is a Trust under which conditional
share awards are provided to employees of the group, including the Executive
Directors of Dialight plc.  The first conditional award was made earlier this
year.
