LISTING APPLICATION

Diagonal PLC ('Diagonal') has made application to the UK Listing Authority and
the London Stock Exchange for the admission to listing of 1,885,720 ordinary
shares of 10p each. These new ordinary shares are being issued in satisfaction
of the deferred consideration for the acquisition of CenturyCom Limited. It is
expected that admission will become effective and that dealings in the new
ordinary shares will commence on 12 January 2001.
