New Chairman appointment
Digitalbox plc (AIM: DBOX), the mobile-first digital media business, which owns Entertainment Daily, The Daily Mash and The Tab, announces that following Robin Miller's decision to step down in October, Marcus Rich has been appointed as Chairman of the Company's Board with effect from 17th February 2021.
Having held senior media positions across the globe throughout his career, Rich brings a wealth of experience to the board. Commenting on the appointment, James Carter, CEO, said: "I very much look forward to working with Marcus as we continue to build our business through further acquisitions and diversification. The media market is responding well to our approach and I have absolute confidence that with Marcus's assistance and his experience working for leading media organisations Bauer Media, Daily Mail and General Trust and TI Media, we can steer the best possible course during these times of intense innovation and growth."
Marcus Rich said: "I've been hugely impressed by the progress Digitalbox has made in a few short years. Having grown the audience base to over 14 million unique monthly users, I'm excited to be getting involved with the team to help deliver and accelerate their plans."
