    SUBMISSION OF 2004 REPORT AND ACCOUNTS, NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
                                AND FORM OF PROXY
    

The Company has today submitted two copies of the following documents to
the UKLA at the Document Viewing Facility for inspection:

(a)  the Annual Report and Accounts for the financial year ended 30 September
     2004;
(b)  a notice of annual general meeting ('AGM') dated 1 December 2004 sent to
     all shareholders entitled to vote at the meeting;
(c)  a form of proxy in relation to the AGM.
