                      DIPLOMA PLC - DIRECTORS' LTIP AWARDS

             The Remuneration Committee recommended that the Board approve the
             following Awards under the Diploma PLC 2004 Long Term Incentive
             Plan ('LTIP') to Executive Directors:


             BM Thompson                   35,645             Ordinary Shares
             I Henderson                   21,343             Ordinary Shares
             NP Lingwood                   21,343             Ordinary Shares



             The Awards made today are subject to performance conditions
             measured over a three Year Performance Period ending 30 September
             2010. A summary of the LTIP, including the performance conditions
             relating to the Awards, is set out in the 2007 Annual Report of the
             Company.
