As required under the terms of the above Act, I am writing to advise you of the
following transaction affecting notifiable interests held by Eaglet Investment
Trust plc.

14.08.00    Bought     300,200 Ordinary 5p shares

This transaction leaves the Trust's holding at 1,775,081 Ordinary 5p shares,
which according to our records, now represents a holding of 7.054% of this class
of capital.

The Shares will be held in the name of HSBC Global Custody Nominees Ltd.
