                      NOTIFICATION OF 2006 INTERIM RESULTS


     Diploma PLC, the specialised international distribution group, will
     announce its Interim Results for the six month period ended 31 March 2006
     on Monday, 8 May 2006.

     There will be an analyst presentation of the results at the offices of

     9.00 am on that day.
