DELLING GROUP PLC
Contract Gains in Screenmedia in Scandinavia
Delling Group PLC ('Delling' or 'the Group'), the AIM-listed integrated
marketing support services company, is pleased to announce that in the last
quarter of the Group's financial period to end 31st December 2005 and the first
quarter of 2006, it has won a number of contracts in Scandinavia in the screen
media area.
The contracts are pilot installations to allow customers to assess their impact
and include the following Scandinavian blue chip companies:
The Swedish Aviation Authority at Stockholm's main airport,
Duka, a Swedish shopping chain with 75 shops,
McDonalds Norway with 60 restaurants,
Inflight Services with its shops at airports in Eastern Europe,
Madla Shopping centre in Stavanger, part of the Amfi Group, one of the leading
chains of shopping centres in Norway,
Vinterbro, a large shopping centre outside Oslo, part of Steen & Strom, the
largest shopping centre group in Scandinavia,
Electrolux Home a chain of 60 shops in Sweden,
Expert, the high street electronical goods chain of 900+ shops in Scandinavia,
and
PAF, an Aland based game company with activities on board ships on and on the
internet.
The orders have partly been delivered in Delling's first quarter of 2006 with
the remaining to be delivered in Q2. Though representing a strategic
break-through in this business area, which Delling first entered in 2003, the
first phase does not represent a significant amount in revenue (approx
£120,000).
However, the Group is confident of further orders of a substantial size once the
pilot projects are successfully completed, which will have greater annual value
and impact to the Group's results in its financial year end 31st December 2006.
Commenting, Geir Lolleng. CEO, Delling Group said:
'It is exciting to see high calibre clients endorse our strategy of advising and
project managing screen media solutions while leaving ultimate ownership of the
channel and screens with the customer. Our focus is to assist the customers to
exploit this new channel and the increase their sales in a cost efficient
manner. I am confident that the Company's investment in this service sector have
now started to generate income and look forward to accelerating this growth in
the months to come.'
