Further to the announcement on 3 March 2015 of the Direct Line Insurance Group plc preliminary results for the year ended 31 December 2014, the relevant dates in respect of the Company's 2014 final¹ and second special interim dividends are set out below.

12 March 2015 - Ex-dividend date

13 March 2015 - Record date

1 April 2015 - Deadline for election under the Dividend Reinvestment Plan*

17 April 2015 - Payment date*

¹The Board has resolved this year to pay an interim dividend in lieu of a final dividend, and references in this document to 'final dividend' for 2014 are to be construed as references to this interim dividend.
