Collaboration with Major Industrial Partner on Air and Water Filtration
Plan to develop new products combining the best of the partners' technologies
Directa Plus (AIM: DCTA), a leading producer and supplier of graphene nanoplatelets based products for use in consumer and industrial markets, announces that it has signed a Letter of Intent with an Italian-based global chemicals and materials group and a major player in the non-woven materials industry to collaborate on an exclusive basis for an initial period of 12 months.
The collaboration will see Directa Plus G+® technologies combined with those of its partner to develop specific products for the global air and water filtration markets. If the initial collaboration is successful and the technical results envisaged are achieved, the two companies will negotiate a technical and commercial partnership agreement.
Commenting, Giulio Cesareo, Founder and CEO of Directa Plus said: "In the advanced material arena there is no shortage of technologies. However, combining the most appropriate technologies to come up with products that customers actually want and need is in short supply. The significant investment made by our partner in advanced non-woven production and their know-how coupled with our disruptive G+® graphene technology could see our graphene products becoming a real innovation accelerator, drastically reducing the time-to-market for new products."

About Directa Plus
Our focus is principally on the two sectors in which we have strong commercial advantage through developed and launched products and a technological lead: environmental (based on our Grafysorber® product), textiles (based on our G+® products) and, more recently, lithium-sulphur batteries. In addition, we will continue to pursue opportunities in elastomers and composites (including tyres and asphalt), also using our G+® products. All our products are hypoallergenic, non-toxic and sustainably produced. Directa Plus holds the Green Economy Mark from London Stock Exchange which recognises companies that contribute to the global green economy.
