Board and Committee Changes
discoverIE Group plc (LSE:DSCV, the "Company") announces that following six years of service, Henrietta Marsh and Richard Brooman will be retiring from the Board at the conclusion of the annual general meeting in July 2019.
Henrietta has served as a Non-Executive Director since May 2013 and as Chair of the Remuneration Committee since October 2014. Richard has served as a Non-Executive Director since January 2013, Chair of the Audit Committee since July 2013 and as Senior Independent Director since December 2014.
Tracey Graham will succeed Henrietta as Chair of the Remuneration Committee with immediate effect. Tracey has been a Non-Executive Director since November 2015 and a member of the Remuneration Committee since February 2016. Tracey is also Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Remuneration Committee at Royal London Mutual Building Society and Ibstock plc.
Bruce Thompson, who joined the Board as a Non-Executive Director in February 2018, will succeed Richard as Senior Independent Director. Recruitment of an additional Non-Executive Director and Audit Committee Chair is underway and an announcement will be made in due course.
