               Blavod Black Vodka plc ('Blavod' or the 'Company')

The Board of Blavod announces that it is in discussions regarding a possible
all-share acquisition of a spirits business, which would involve the
introduction of a significant new shareholder to the Company.

These discussions are very preliminary and there can be no assurance that any
transaction will ultimately take place. A further announcement will be made when
appropriate.
