                                 Directorship

Blavod Black Vodka plc ('the Company'), announces that Mark Dorman, has
resigned as an executive director of the Board but will continue with the
Company in a non-executive capacity, with effect from 1 November 2001.

Richard Ambler, Chief Executive, commented:

'The Board are grateful for Mark Dorman's invaluable contribution to Blavod,
which he founded in 1997 and look forward to his continued support as a
non-executive Director
