Diversified Energy Company PLC (LSE: DEC) announces that on 31 May 2023, Rusty Hutson, Jr, Executive Director, President and Chief Executive Officer, transacted in ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares").

Mr. Hutson acquired through purchases in the open market 73,049 Ordinary Shares at an average price of 85.59 pence per Ordinary Share. Combined with the share purchases previously announced on 31 May 2023, Mr. Hutson's aggregate purchases in the open market over 30-31 May 2023 represent 250,000 Ordinary Shares at an average price of 84.13 pence per Ordinary Share.

Mr. Hutson is now interested in 24,152,890 Ordinary Shares representing approximately 2.487% of the Company's issued share capital.
