Diversified Energy Company PLC (LSE: DEC) announces that David Johnson, Independent Non-Executive Chair of the Company's Board of Directors (the "Board") recently transacted in ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares"), as set forth below.

David Johnson acquired through the market 15,000 Ordinary Shares at an average price of 74.09 pence per Ordinary Share on 9 October 2023. Following this purchase, Mr. Johnson is now interested in 475,000 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 0.05% of the Company's issued share capital.
