Transaction in own shares

Diversified Gas & Oil plc (AIM: DGO), the US based owner and operator of natural gas, natural gas liquids and oil wells as well as midstream assets, announces that, in accordance with the terms of its share buyback programme announced on 30 April 2019 it has purchased 871,311 ordinary shares of 1 pence each in the capital of the Company (the "Shares") in the market at a volume weighted average price of 107.82 pence per Share through Stifel Nicolaus Europe Limited ("Stifel").  The Shares acquired will be held in treasury for cancellation.

Lowest price paid per share:	105.50 pence
Highest price paid per share:	110.00 pence
Volume weighted average price paid per share:	107.82 pence

The number of ordinary shares in issue is 694,169,088 (including treasury shares) and following the purchase of the Shares, the Company will hold 2,409,082 ordinary shares in treasury.  Therefore, the total voting rights in DGO will be 691,760,006.  This figure for the total number of voting rights may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
